Another 1Take studio session from our November vault… UK lyricist Scott Vlassis gives an impressive and emotive performance at Mi7 Studios in Acton with 1Take regular Shan Thaman on guitar
Ki Yoshi was one of the first artists to perform on 1Take and we are always really happy to have her back in the studio… she never fails to impress with her immense talent. Ki, we salute you, here’s to many more collaborations in the future! Keep an eye out for Ki in 2013…
Lovely singer songwriter De’Borah impressed us all with her beautiful voice and song when she performed in the 1Take studio back in November… another one to watch out for, her lyrics are beautifully and emotively worded and are performed hauntingly with her sweet clear voice…
…and for something a little bit different, London based Gangsta-Nerd duo Tigermonkey brought a huge amount of colour to the 1Take kitchen with their excellent if rather eclectic “Pretty Mad” complete with pink belly dancer! Not for the faint hearted…
And here’s another sweet studio session from 2012… Strike performs his track “Four Letters” in the 1Take studio featuring Daniel James
Another great film from the Barcelona team… Tuareg guitarist and singer songwriter from Agadez in Niger, Bombino gives an exclusive performance for 1Take in his hotel room during Primavera Sound 2012… pretty mind blowing!
Not a studio session this time but a pretty epic video from the Barcelona crew… Chilean band Astro perform their song ‘Colombo’ at the Primavera Pro lounge during 2012’s Primavera Sound
Roxanne Emery - River Runs Dry
Been a while since we posted some studio session videos so there may be quite a few going up on here over the next few days… starting with singer songwriter Roxanne Emery who we filmed performing in the 1Take studio back in November… beautiful voice and with a big fanbase quickly building, this girl is definitely one to watch for 2013
