The 1Take team has landed in Barcelona ready for the Primavera Sound festival which opens with a bang on Wednesday… there is a pretty impressive lineup from Animal Collective to Fleet Foxes, M Ward, the brilliant Sufjam Stevens, the mesmerising Tallest Man on Earth and too many more incredible acts to mention… we will be filming as many of the live performances as possible but there are only four of us so there is a limit to what we can do… check out the lineup above and let us know who you would want to see playing and we’ll do our best to get some films posted asap… hasta luego

Cults new album Cults is streaming at NPR → npr.org

It opens with the first of a few less innocuous samples from cult leader Jim Jones’ infamous Death Speech. “To me, death is not a fearful thing,” he says. “It’s living that is treacherous.”

Excellent balance between the brvtal and the sweet pop vocals.

Pretty stoked that Cults are going to performing at Primavera Sound this week… 1Take is going to be filming them live on 26th May in the Parc del Forum, can’t wait! Will post the videos up as soon as they are ready… in the meantime, if you haven’t heard of Cults (you should have) check them out at NPR…
