Jason Collett performing “Rave on Sad Songs” on the Adidas Originals Stage at Primavera Sound earlier this year… in a bit of a Jason Collett editing haze at the moment but that’s ok because I don’t think I could ever get tired of watching this man perform and this is possibly my favourite song of his too…

Jason Collett performing “Brownie Hawkeye”, the first of the videos that we filmed with him backstage at Primavera Sound in May… I hadn’t heard this song before but I love it especially the line “we never grew up… we just got older”! We met many amazing musicians over 1Take’s fabulous Primavera weekend but he was one of the only ones that I felt slightly in awe of, he’s just incredibly talented and has a bit of an aura about him… couldn’t be a nicer guy either… so to sum up, we love Jason Collett! We also want to say a special thank you to Anka at Moutique who couldn’t have been more helpful. More videos to follow including some great footage of him on stage by the sea…
Jason Collett (Brownie Hawkeye)
Cannot wait to put up the beautiful videos of Jason Collett that we filmed at Primavera Sound in Barcelona in May. He was kind enough to meet us backstage and chat to us about what songwriting means to him as well as perform two incredible songs, Brownie Hawkeye and Blue Sky… We also have some great footage of his performance on the Adidas Originals stage later that day so watch this space for videos of that too… We love Canadians especially this one…
1Take’s Henric Hemmerlind filmed Austrian band Francis International Airport performing an intimate semi acoustic set at the ME hotel in Barcelona last month… they were also kind enough to make some time to meet with us after their set to tell us a little more about the band, so watch this space for the video of that interview as well as some great videos of their electric performance on the Adidas Originals stage at Primavera Sound the next night… we are now BIG fans of this band
Also on Friday, we had the very great privilege of meeting Canadian singer/songwriter Jason Collett… we filmed him performing some beautiful acoustic renditions of his songs Brownie Hawkeye and Blue Sky backstage before his performance on the Adidas Stage later that night… videos to follow shortly
