I’ve been neglecting tumblr recently as we’ve had so much on… like taking a road trip down to Glastonbury with Hip Hop legend DJ Vadim and one of Chicago’s finest MC’s, Pugs Atomz to film The Electric’s two performances on the Cube Penge and West Holt Bar stages. If you haven’t already heard of them, The Electric is the new superband spearheaded by DJ Vadim with UK soulstress Sabira Jade and lyrical marvel Pugs, “a trio that spits hip hop over meticulously produced soul and funk jams” (MTV). Our most recent project “Life is Moving”! 1Take TV teamed up with DJ Vadim’s new band The Electric and DC Shoes to make a film in Barcelona, cut to the Zeds Dead Remix of The Electric’s track ‘Toot Toot’. With Special thanks to Jonathan Hatzin, William Lanngren and Sean Smith (the main stars of the show).
