The first of our Discos Paradiso sessions in association with MusicWise… Maia Vidal plays her accordion and performs “The Alphabet of My Phobias” in the street outside Barcelona’s best record store to the delight of surprised passers by… we love the guy in the background in the white t shirt who sits down to watch the performance and can’t take his eyes of her…
We are really excited to be collaborating with Music Wise, filming their weekly sessions at Discos Paradisos, Barcelona’s best record store… we have already filmed Maia Vidal, Scott Rudd and the brilliant ANIMIC performing intimate gigs at the back of the store and they will be ready to broadcast very shortly… and, if you are ever in Barcelona you should definitely pay a visit to Discos Paradisos…
Last week we filmed Canadian folk/rock singer songwriter Scott Rudd as part of the Music Wise live sessions at Discos Paradiso in Barcelona. Scott lives in New York but he is currently touring Europe before his debut album is released this summer. We will have some films to put up soon but in the meantime check out his music on his MySpace page… our particular favourite is “Lonely Life”, beautiful…

The 1TakeTV team had the very great pleasure of filming the lovely Maia live at a very intimate show at Discos Paradiso in Barcelona last week and can confirm that she is as charming as she is talented and beautiful… will be posting some videos up here soon.
