This is the first video from the Live in Your Living Room session that we filmed a few weeks back… three great musicians/bands each performed 2 sets of 15 minutes over the course of the evening in - yep, you guessed it - someone’s living room! Great location, lovely people and three hugely talented acts - all in all a great night and we are very happy to be able to share some of the performances with you. Here Rik van den Bosch performs his song “When I’m Bound” with his band The Dandies… if you haven’t heard or seen Rik perform before then please check this out as we think he is incredible… one of the 1Take team (who shall not be named for fear of sounding like a groupie) has had this song playing on repeat since we recorded it… enjoy and keep an eye out for more videos of Rik!
the second performance from DM Stith, filmed during his recent stay in Barcelona… I think the word I used to describe his previous performance was “mesmerising” and I’m going to have to use it again here, he IS mesmerising and just ridiculously good and very unique… oh and he’s in a band too…
1Take’s Henric Hemmerlind filmed Austrian band Francis International Airport performing an intimate semi acoustic set at the ME hotel in Barcelona last month… they were also kind enough to make some time to meet with us after their set to tell us a little more about the band, so watch this space for the video of that interview as well as some great videos of their electric performance on the Adidas Originals stage at Primavera Sound the next night… we are now BIG fans of this band

Another video from our amazing Primavera weekend… Australian band Deep Sea Arcade performs “Don’t be Sorry” in their hotel room… it was a bit of squeeze trying to fit five grown men and three guitars onto two beds but we managed it and the band smashed it with a really great and quirky performance… We are also in the process of editing another video of the band performing their new single “Lonely In Your Arms” which has just been released via Ivy League Records so keep an eye out for both the single and the video…

This is the first of our videos from our crazy fews days at Primavera Sound last month… DM Stith performs his as yet unrecorded song “My Impatience” in his hotel room in an intimate performance for 1Take! It was such a privilege to film him, he is absolutely mesmerizing to watch, there is something infinitely special about him… possibly the favourite film we have done so far! Enjoy…

The first of our Discos Paradiso sessions in association with MusicWise… Maia Vidal plays her accordion and performs “The Alphabet of My Phobias” in the street outside Barcelona’s best record store to the delight of surprised passers by… we love the guy in the background in the white t shirt who sits down to watch the performance and can’t take his eyes of her…
Samantha de Siena performs Horizon in the Sol de Sants studio in Barcelona… with Ismael Dueñas on piano, Nicholas Dominic Talvola on flugel horn, Jorge da Rocha on double bass and Xavi Molero on drums. A special credit is also due to Nicholas for his intuitive set design… mermaids, sailors, fishing nets etc…
