Kicking off our first kitchen session in true technicolour style, Tiger Monkey get their claws out for the cameras (thank you again instagram)… will be putting up the finished video very shortly…
gloriously talented new yorkers Pearl and the Beard create beautiful sounds with vocals, guitar, percussion and cello… uniquely breathtaking! originality is something to be cherished and these guys have it in spades…

While in the UK last week, Pearl and the Beard did a session with the fine folks at 1 Take TV in London. We’ll be debuting the whole session soon, but for now, here’s a trailer! Special thanks to Jonah and all the crew there for making it such a fun experience for everyone!
We loved hanging out with the guys from Pearl and the Beard when they were in town last week… we were lucky enough to film them performing on several occasions, at a gig, in a church, hanging out in a hallway and of course in the 1Take studio, more videos to follow but for now here’s a snapshot of their time in the smoke…

Pearl and the Beard - The Lament of Coronado Brown
Our newest discovery… how could we not have come across this brilliant New York based band before? During their first ever UK tour last week, the lovely Emily, Jocelyn and Jeremy (aka Pearl and the Beard) very kindly made some time to come into the 1Take studio to film a session with us and we were absolutely blown away by them… their completely unique sound coupled with stupendous musical talent makes them impossible to pigeon hole into any one genre! We will be posting some videos that we made while they were in old London town (we loved their studio session so much we even followed them to the Lexington and filmed their gig there as well) but in the meantime check out their new music video which is beautiful…
