Big Head Troubled Boy perform Revenge in the Sol de Sants studio in Barcelona… the Barcelona team are currently filming at Primavera Sound (making the London team just a little bit jealous) so expect to see coverage of the festival very soon…
And the 1Take Barcelona team have been back at Sol de Sants studio filming indie band Big Head Troubled Boy performing their song “Captain”
and even more from Barcelona (they have been working hard)… this is the second song the boys filmed with David Cevoli, this time the title track from “All Grown Up”
and more from the boys in barcelona… they filmed the wild and crazy sounds of Moya Kalongo on stage at the sala salamandra, this incredible mix of Afrobeat and Funk is insanely great… definitely one to catch live, the show was amazing… and the video is pretty damn good too, georg bungard is heading up the 1Take team in Barcelona and we think he is smashing it! well done georg and the rest of the brilliant 1Take Barcelona team :)

Spanish Band Man Man perform ‘Haute Tropique’ at Plaça dels Angels in Barcelona
Man Man came crashing down on the Plaça dels Angels with moustached fury and the 1Take team in Barcelona were lucky to be able to film it. Produced and edited by Georg Bungard and filmed by Barcelona’s finest Fernando Gayesky, Pablo Maestres and Daniel Ospina López with sound production by Giuliano Gius Cobelli.

There’s a funny story behind this video actually… having seen Vincent Moon’s wonderful La Blogateque video of this man (which just blew me away) we were really keen to film a 1Take private session with Fernando while he was in Barcelona for Primavera Sound earlier this year and which 1Take was filming at… we couldn’t get in touch with him however and assumed it wasn’t going to happen so, imagine our joy when, on the first night of the festival, the man himself came and sat right down beside us!! After recovering our (well my) composure, we introduced ourselves and, being the lovely humble soul that he is, he very kindly agreed to come and do a 1Take session at some point during his stay in Barcelona… and here is the finished film (well 1 of them, we made 3 in total), hope you like it…
The Album Leaf ‘The Outer Banks’ on stage at PrimaveraSound in Barcelona… just sheer genius
1Take’s Henric Hemmerlind filmed Austrian band Francis International Airport performing an intimate semi acoustic set at the ME hotel in Barcelona last month… they were also kind enough to make some time to meet with us after their set to tell us a little more about the band, so watch this space for the video of that interview as well as some great videos of their electric performance on the Adidas Originals stage at Primavera Sound the next night… we are now BIG fans of this band
