As you may know, 1Take loves getting up close with our artists, filming them in the studio, on stage and actually pretty much anywhere else really… we were privileged to be allowed into The Album Leaf’s Barcelona hotel room during Primavera Sound last May to film this video… and then we caught them on stage later too which was, need I say it, simply mesmerising…

There’s a funny story behind this video actually… having seen Vincent Moon’s wonderful La Blogateque video of this man (which just blew me away) we were really keen to film a 1Take private session with Fernando while he was in Barcelona for Primavera Sound earlier this year and which 1Take was filming at… we couldn’t get in touch with him however and assumed it wasn’t going to happen so, imagine our joy when, on the first night of the festival, the man himself came and sat right down beside us!! After recovering our (well my) composure, we introduced ourselves and, being the lovely humble soul that he is, he very kindly agreed to come and do a 1Take session at some point during his stay in Barcelona… and here is the finished film (well 1 of them, we made 3 in total), hope you like it…
