The lovely and extremely pretty We Were Evergreen came back into the studio a couple of weeks ago and mixed up a unique medley of two of Ed Sheeran’s well loved tracks…
Nathan “Flutebox” Lee performs “Rocket” in the 1Take studio with Ebo on beatbox and Biscuit on second flute… freaking good!
From labourer to prodigy… Nathan “Flutebox” Lee picked up a flute for the first time only a few years ago and when he started to play, a totally unique, never heard before sound came out… we love him, totally humble and a bit of a legend in the making…
The incredibly sweet French band We Were Evergreen came all the way over from Paris to perform for 1Take… well ok, they may have been in town anyway to play some gigs but we were still thrilled to welcome them into the studio! Here they are performing their brand new song “It’s such a waste”…
We were really happy to welcome 1Take veteran, the golden voiced Ky Oshi, back to the 1Take studio again last month for this soulful performance of her beautiful original track “Rain” with 1Take guitarist extraordinaire and man about town Cezar Jnr accompanying her… we love pretty much anything this girl does, she is super talented and, even more importantly, she is super nice too so check her out, we think she’ll go far…
Madness’s “Must Be Love” gets a makeover… with gorgeous UK singer pianist Holly Walker mashing it up with Katy B’s “Katy on a Mission”! The result is “Madness On A Mission”, pretty intense with great vocals…
The excellent Luc Skyz with his second performance “Never Lay Down” for 1TakeTV… we think this guy is sick!! Enjoy…
…and we also filmed the uber talented Master Shortie performing “Social Groups”, check out these stills taken from the video which will be going live asap so watch this space…
The 1Take team got back in the studio last week and we have some great videos coming up… Ky Oshi, who was one of the very first artists to film in the 1Take studio, came and performed another two songs for us, the first being a beautiful tribute to Amy Winehouse and the second one of her own original tracks… we’re busy editing the films now so keep an eye out for them and in the meantime check out this video of Ky performing “Where Did You Go”, beautifully raw and full of emotion…
